Clover hardware remains readily available. The challenge however this year has been with the cellular modems being in stock. The cellular modem shortage has been resolved and will be released with the third Clover genera- tion release that is due to be available mid-June for Clover Mini and September for Clover Flex. Many vendors have opted to move toward WIFI Clovers as a temporary solution utilizing Moxie Hot Spots found at Best Buy, that allow for month-to-month data plans and connect to several devices with a single device. The Clover 3 will be a great addition to our footprint. The modems will allow for faster response times, the Clover screens will be slightly larger, and the card entry point for EMV will be placed to reduce the opportunity for downtime due to consumer spilling drinks and
environmental agents that cause build up, such a sugar and oil.
Other Fiserv, Clover, and integrated partner solutions have sparked our carnival owner interest!
The Fiserv employee paid pay card, Clover cash advance, Clover integrated solutions with contactless ticketing, and enterprise reporting programs are just a few products to mention. The Money Network Fiserv product has special pricing to OABA members. Business owners can now pay their em- ployees electronically on a visa payroll card at no charge. Clover Capital has been successful now that we are back to work. Clover will advance our owners cash that is paid back through card transaction. The process is very quick. This tool, in my opinion, is designed for companies
who need additional cash to buy new trailer, rides, or contracts that will be used for returned revenue back to the company.

Magic Money has been a well- received contactless ticketing solution for our Midways. With generations of experience, the Magic Money team has evolved the contactless midway tickets to an experience both carnival owners and fairgoers have appreciated. Their consumer can choose to reload from a ticket seller, Clover self-maintained kiosk, or from the consumer facing reloadable application on their per- sonal smart phone. When expanded to concessions and using the Clover as a point-of-sale, the consumer has the choice of paying with their wristband, personal credit or debit card via EMV, Apple Pay or Google pay, other contact- less payment options such as Venmo or PayPal pay, along with cash. Customer reward tools and design flexibility has won the heart of Carnival owners across the US. Apex Ceph has been a powerful reconciliation tool for carnival own- ers with multiple stand and routes, while beneficial for third-party contract owners’ ability to report electronically. With one click, carnival owners can see their entire financial and inventory footprint sales real time.
