Evan Katz, DC Saturday: 1:00-2:30pm

General Session Room

Join Dr. Evan Katz as we dive into the often-overlooked world of spinal pathologies and subluxations—and their profound impact on the spinal cord and vascular system. Dr. Katz will be sharing research-backed insights, including studies he has personally published, that reveal how these structural issues contribute to pain, dysfunction, and long-term health consequences, especially in post-trauma cases like car collisions. This presentation will not only give you a deeper understanding of the spine-neurovascular connection, but will also show you how to effectively translate this knowledge into patient education and bulletproof documentation. Learn how to make it clear—

Professional Boundaries in the Chiropractic Office

Mario Fucinari, DC, CPCO, CPPM, CIC Saturday: 1:00-2:30pm

Breakout Room

We will explore professional and sexual issues in the chiropractic office. Recent events have heightened an acute awareness of the potential for a physician’s actions to compromise the physician-patient relationship. The chiropractic practice is unique because it frequently involves physical contact with patients of all ages. A chiropractic office’s unique circumstances may lead to situations that challenge legal, practical, and cultural differences between the doctor, staff, and patient. Ethical principles and models for decision-making that are most applicable in the healthcare profession will be discussed.
