ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Mónica Rodríguez Delgado, PhD, LPC, NCC, RPT™, is a bicultural/bilingual counselor and counselor educator. As a daughter of immigrants, her clinical work centers around providing services to marginalized communities in English and Spanish. Dr. Rodríguez Delgado’s research is grounded in decolonial and liberatory frameworks, aiming to dismantle oppressive structures within counseling and academia.

Peggy Ceballos, PhD, NCC, LPC-A, is a Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her research agenda focuses on culturally informed play therapy interventions for minoritized students with a special focus on Latine immigrant children. Her works centers on enhancing delivery of services to underserved communities.
Elizabeth Aguilar, PhD, LPC, NCC, is a bilingual (Spanish and English) clinician who has worked with clients across the lifespan within the school setting, deeply committed to advancing culturally inclusive services, demonstrating her passion through her contributions to supervision, teaching, research, and clinical practice.
