Impact in Long Beach: CAI’s Executive Leadership Summit Was Not Your Average Leadership Event

April 23 - 24, 2026

The CAI Greater Los Angeles and Orange County Chapters teamed up to launch their fi rst-ever Executive Leadership Summit, and it was a gamechanger. Held on April 23rd and 24th, the two- day event gathered a mix of CEOs and rising stars to tackle the toughest parts of community management, like dodging burnout and handling high homeowner expectations, through the lens of stress management and emotional intelligence.

It wasn’t just about the 8 continuing education credits or the networking opportunities; it was about getting real-world tools for high-pressure jobs. The energy started high with Dr. David Bardsley, who shared his incredible journey from being institutionalized as a kid to becoming a top surgeon. He gave everyone a “brain owner’s manual,” explaining the biology of stress and how to keep your cool when things get intense at work.

The momentum kept building as strategist Stacey Crowley broke down the “mechanics of infl uence.” Finally, Bre Hereford from the Tony Robbins organization brought the house down, using high- performance strategies to boost everyone’s emotional intelligence. Leaders walked away from the event with a serious confi dence boost and a clear roadmap for leading their teams through whatever comes next.

The Executive Leadership Summit was more than a successful inaugural event; it marked a meaningful shift in how leaders within the community association industry are supported and developed. By combining science, strategy, and emotional intelligence, the CAI Greater Los Angeles and Orange County Chapters set a new benchmark for executive growth. As industry’s demands continue to evolve, this summit served as a powerful reminder that the most effective leaders are not only knowledgeable but also intentional, resilient, and well-equipped to lead with impact.

Planning for next year’s summit is already underway. Stay tuned for the offi cial dates and be sure to register early; this is one you won’t want to miss.
