Golf Committee: Planning a Member Favorite
Few CAI-Illinois traditions are as anticipated as the annual Golf Outing. Behind this member-favorite event is the Golf Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers who spend months coordinating the details that bring the day together—from sponsorships and foursomes to contests, logistics, volunteers, and event-day operations.
Held at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, this year’s sold-out outing brought members together for a beautiful—and very hot—summer day of golf, friendly competition, and plenty of fun. Even when an unexpected storm brought the awards portion of the day to an abrupt end, it couldn’t take away from another successful outing or the committee’s hard work behind it.
Another Sold-Out Success
With their passion and teamwork, this year's sold-out outing delivered a beautiful, hot summer day filled with golf, conversation, friendly competition, and connections across the industry - most anticipated events.
The Golf Committee coordinates the course, sponsorships, foursomes, contests, volunteers and countless event-day details that make the outing feel effortless for attendees. This year, the course was packed with members enjoying a full day of networking and friendly competition. A late-afternoon storm brought the awards portion to an abrupt close, but it could not dampen the success - or the spirit - of another member-favorite outing.
More Than a Day on the Course
Some of the strongest professional relationships are built outside the boardroom. The Golf Committee creates space to reconnect, meet new colleagues and strengthen the relationships that make CAI-Illinois special.
