Volunteer Spotlight: Behind the Committees

Creating Experiences That Educate, Connect & Inspire

Behind every successful CAI-Illinois event is a dedicated team of volunteers working long before registration opens or attendees arrive. This issue, we are shining a spotlight on two committees whose efforts recently brought members together through outstanding education and networking opportunities: the Manager Education & Development Committee and the Golf Committee.

Manager Education & Development Committee: Delivering Education That Moves the Industry Forward

Learning never stops. The Manager Education & Development Committee creates timely, relevant programming that helps community association professionals stay informed, prepared and connected.

Making Learning Meaningful

From identifying emerging issues to recruiting industry experts, the committee develops learning opportunities that support managers at every stage of their careers.

By staying connected to the challenges community association professionals face every day, committee members help shape programming that is timely, practical, and relevant. Their work brings together knowledgeable speakers and meaningful topics, communities and put into practice.giving managers resources they can take back to their

This Year's Legal Forum

This year's Legal Forum welcomed 304 attendees for two days of education featuring six leading community association law firms presenting on current legal issues and emerging trends. Between sessions, attorneys participated in rapid-fire Q&A discussions - an engaging format that gave attendees practical answers to real-world questions. The two-day virtual program featured six education sessions, six interactive Q&A sessions and 12 CE credits.

Why Members Keep Coming Back

Education is one of CAI-Illinois' cornerstones. By pairing timely topics with knowledgeable presenters and interactive discussion, the committee helps managers return to their communities with information they can put to work immediately.
