While many in property management only hear of the crazy and unbelievable, we must all remember someone must tend to the details of each incident. Some are sad, some are gruesome and some are just down right hilarious!!
CASE IN POINT: Upon inspection of a local association which includes the pool area and surrounding landscaping, it was noted that many tree limbs along one end were broken, charred and removed. Assuming the neighboring complex was responsible for this issue it was left documented and we moved ahead with summer. Not until the holiday season when the Board gives out gag gifts, was I awarded with the answer to this mystery.
During the pool season when alcohol seems to be in high consumption, it was noted that a BOARD member was drinking moonshine and MAKING FIRE BALLS into the air for the community to sit in awe watching. This became a well-known party trick and continued to happen throughout the summer, much to the demise of the surrounding landscape. With over 6-foot fire balls in the air, we are lucky no other issues occurred. I was presented with a photo of a fire ball in action, and the board member received his own fire extinguisher for personal use.

Contest Rules 1. Contest dates are from January 1st, 2018-October 31st, 2018.
