Top selling does bring $12,000 each at Elite 8 and March Madness


It was three days of fun and excitement at the March Madness and Elite 8 Boer goat sales, which also included 2 ABGA shows and a commercial doe show. The shows were held on Thursday, Feb. 25. The Elite 8 Sale was held on Friday, Feb. 26, and featured a ribeye steak dinner and live music. The March Madness in February Sale was held on Saturday, Feb. 27. All activities were held at the Lane Agripark. The high-selling doe in the Elite 8 sold for $12,000 and was consigned by Paul McNeer and family. The high-selling doe in the March Madness Sale also sold for $12,000 and was consigned by 2M Boer goats, Paul and Kim Morgan. The high-selling buck in the March Madness sold for $11,000 and was consigned by Missy Rosemeyer. A total of 106 lots sold in the March Madness with


only 4 no-sells. n
