Dozens of Safety Leaders Attend Joint Safety Council Event

n July 24, 2024, AGC of California and AGC of San Diego hosted a “Joint Safety and Health


Council” event, bringing together over 70 safety professionals from across the state. A special thank you to Skanska for hosting the event, Milwaukee for sponsoring breakfast, and Hammertech for sponsoring the amazing lunch truck. Te meeting featured insightful pre-


sentations, including Lisa Prince from Prince Law Firm, who discussed how employers have triumphed in Superior Court cases. Members of the Drug En- forcement Administration addressed the fentanyl and opioid crisis in Califor- nia. Additionally, Provix provided a live demonstration of their 360 blind spot monitoring system on a piece of Skanska equipment. Te collaboration and shared knowl-
