ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING
SIR 2025: Special guests, new formats and anniversary surprises
By Gloria Martinez–Salazar, MD, FSIR
or the last 5 years, the Annual Scientific Meeting Committee has been dedicated to reconceptualizing what the Annual Scientific Meeting should look like. We’ve adjusted each year to keep up with the changing needs of the IR specialty, as well as the changing nature of conferences since the COVID-19 lockdowns. We’ve been very focused on feedback from our membership, and as we have been planning SIR 2025, one thing has been clear: SIR 2025 Nashville
will not be the same SIR Annual Scientific Meeting as we know it.
Interventional radiology is an innovative and constantly shifting field, with 50 years of history to prove it. Our members have different subspecializations, practice types and practice needs. Education and learning modalities have evolved alongside our membership, and there has never been more demand for dynamic, immersive educational experiences.
