hour at one of our local hangouts and each attendee was given a free drink if they brought food to donate to a great cause. We had a fantastic attendance and not only had a fun time but we were also able to donate to our local food bank and give back to our community.

he Iota chapter board members have been working hard to make 2017 a memorable year. Tis spring, our Farewell Dinner marked the tran- sition of our senior ZIPs members into ZIPs alumni. Te banquet was held on May 12th, at the Marines’ Memorial Club and Hotel by Union Square. It was complete with a fun photobooth, roaming photographers, and bittersweet speeches from the graduating members. Under the rare, San Franciscan summer sun, the new board created early hype for the fraternity among the incoming class with our new May Madness event filled with challenging mini-games in Golden Gate Park. As Tanksgiving rolled around we
found ourselves knee deep in mashed potatoes and turkey at our annual “Friendsgiving.” Every member brought a delicious dish to share and left that night stuffed! It was a great night with great people. Our chapter will be closing out a phenomenal semester with our
holiday party , which we are lucky enough to have hosted by Dr. Parm- lee. Every year we ring in the holiday season with a delicious meal, craft beers and intense games of shuffle board at Dr. Parmlee’s amazing party barn. Te Beta Mu chapter is looking forward to the fun events we have planned next semester!
