eta Omicron Chapter has had quite the busy year! As our 2nd


official year at Midwestern Univer- sity in Chicago, IL, we kicked off the new school year with members volunteering at Illinois’ Mission of Mercy in Springfield, IL this past July 2018. After a long week of clinic and a 4 hour drive down south, our members were certainly busy serving those in need in the communities and definitely had fun doing so. Come October 2018, ZIPs participated in Shiloh Church Dental Outreach to serve local communities of South Side Chicago. Tanks Shayan Nizami for organizing such great volunteer- ing events for our members! During our break in August 2018,


Beta Omicron Chapter hosted its very first Mission Trip to Peru! Organized and led by our then-Vice President Franco Enverga, members were left with unforgettable experi- ences volunteering with A Broader View. At our Tanksgiving Break 2018, we had our second Mission Trip to Belize! Coordinated and led by Dr. Charles Arita of Iota Chapter, a few Beta Omicron members had

amazing experiences serving the Mayan people of Punta Gorda, Belize C.A. To travel to a different place and positively impact the local communi- ties by helping those in need of dental care is one of the most rewarding and


humane acts of kindness. Comradery through community outreaches is who we are at Beta Omicron. Come September 2018 is the start


of Fall Quarter and a new RUSH Sea- son at MWU-CDMI. ZIPs Officers
