Jennifer Aspaas, Esq. serves as general and litigation counsel for the condominium and homeowner association clients of Strichartz Aspaas, PLLC. She assists clients with review, drafting and negotiation of contracts and loan transactions, as well as advice and drafting of declaration amendments and other association corporate documents. She also advises clients regarding general governance, enforcement matters, and compliance with state and federal law.


Michael Davis has spent twenty-two years in risk management and quality assurance at the state and local levels including non-profit program management. He has degrees in Psychology and Business from Seattle Pacific University. As Operations for Dimensional Building Consultants, Michael coordinates projects for the engineering and architect team and serves the CAI community as a committee volunteer.


Linda Hanson has been a consultant to nonprofits for over 25 years. Linda has served on her community association board of directors off and on for five years and has been president for three of those years. Her experience with various community association challenges and successes allows her a great perspective on the homeowner challenges a community association faces.


Ila Kane, CMCA, AMS, PCAM is a community association manager at Trestle Community Management in the HOA and Developer Practice working primarily with new and transitioning developments. She has been in community association management in the greater Puget Sound for over three years. She’s a member of the WSCAI Made for Managers Day Committee and loves being involved in WSCAI events.


Karen McDonald, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, RS is a President and Founder of Accurate Reserve Professionals, LLC. A former association manager, 2020 marks Karen’s 20th year in the community association industry where she now helps bridge the gap between associations and their reserve studies. Karen is a Past President for the WSCAI Chapter and serves as liaison to the Membership and the Market Expansion Committees. Outside of the office, she enjoys gardening and traveling.


Tom Thomas, MBA, is the founder and CEO of Votegrity, with more than 25 years of experience in information systems. During his career, he has spent time designing, building, deploying, and maintaining customer- focused, data-driven enterprise applications and systems in organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies. He holds an Executive MBA from Seattle University and a B.S. in Software Development.


Vanessa Tilberg, CMCA, AMS, PCAM is the Operations Director at Trestle Community Management. She joined the industry in 2013 and managed a portfolio of community associations for six years before moving into a leadership role. Vanessa is the outgoing Chair of the WSCAI Law Day Committee and served on the WSCAI Outreach Committee for several years. As Operations Director, she leads Trestle’s Client Experience Team and Accounting Department, focusing on internal and external support, company procedures, and educational efforts.


Caitlin Traub, CMCA, AMS, PCAM is the Senior Vice President of Hammersmith Management, a RealManage Family of Brands Company. Prior to joining Hammersmith in September, she served as the President of Associa – EMB Management, serving on WSCAI committees and task forces. She has managed both portfolio and large-scale communities in the Dallas-Ft. Worth market and served in several leadership capacities in the Seattle area. She spoke at the CAI National Conference in Orlando, Florida. Caitlin enjoys traveling and finding new mountains to ski.
