Tim Feth, Esq., is a partner at Rafel Law Group, PLLC. Tim’s practice focuses on representing community association clients in nearly all aspects of general counsel and litigation. He has assisted clients in resolving pre-litigation building warranty claims and has successfully litigated construction defect cases to resolution.
Sarah Hoey, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, is Executive Director of the Issaquah Highlands Community Association, IHCA. She was one of the nominees for WSCAI’s Manager of the Year Award in 2022. Sarah has also earned the prestigious Large Scale Manager (LSM) certification. She has successfully managed Issaquah Highlands, which has 4,711 units, for the past 7 years and has been in the industry since 2007.
Dean Martin, Esq. specializes in construction defect litigation, devoting his practice to condominium and multi-family residential cases. This includes successfully prosecuting claims against developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and their insurance companies. Dean also assists his clients with their general counsel issues. Outside the office, Dean is an avid fly fisher, golfer and the proud father of two.
Karen McDonald, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, RS, is President & Founder of Accurate Reserve Professionals, LLC. A former community association manager, she now works to prepare quality, detailed and easy to understand reserve studies to help associations better identify their current reserve funding status and develop a budget plan for the coming years. Karen is a Past President of the WSCAI Chapter and serves on several committees. Outside of the office she lives on a hobby farm with her husband and a collection of animals.
Erik R. OIsen, Esq. is a partner at Hanis Irvine Prothero, PLLC and enjoys serving his association clients. Since graduating from the University of Washington (BA) and Gonzaga School of Law (JD), Erik’s legal practice has included personal injury, criminal defense, and traffic defense. Erik also occasionally works as a Judge Pro Tem and previously served as Commissioner for the Kent Municipal Court. Erik has served on numerous boards including the South King County Bar Association (president 2013-14, 2021—present), the Rotary Club of Kent (president 2019-20), and was formerly on the Board of Governors for the Washington Criminal Defense Lawyers Association from 2015-17. In his spare time, Erik enjoys theatre, grilling, sports, and running.
