One of the exciting new features the WSCA is rolling out this year is our association’s mobile app. Having access to information, benefits, and business resources at the tip of your fingers is of the utmost importance. This app aims to do all three and more!
Current features include WSCA news, events, on-demand webinars, our Career Center, affinity programs, corporate partners, government relations resources, social media channels, our Find a Chiropractor directory, information on COVID resources and our new association health plan, and more. But that’s just the start of it— there are additional features that will be rolled out in the coming months.
The WSCA mobile app is free and available for both Apple and Android devices.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

As I’m writing this message, I’m sitting in the general session at ChiroFEST, experiencing the kind of enthusiasm and jubilation that is unique to chiropractic and that I’ve never seen among any other profession I’ve worked with. It’s one of my favorites events each year
because of the unmatched excitement and professional pride that even a layperson can adopt just from working on its fringes. It’s at events like these that I’m reminded of how important chiropractic is to you, to me, and most importantly to the patients who not only get relief from your services, but whose entire lives are changed by them for the better.
It’s the kind of exhilaration the WSCA aims to replicate with its annual conferences. Of course, WSCA Connect is designed to achieve slightly different goals than ChiroFEST, but there are lessons that each event can take away from the other and, if nothing else, ChiroFEST helps get me into the right headspace for conference season.
Now, if everything goes according to schedule, you should be receiving this issue of Plexus just before WSCA Connect ’23. If you haven’t already, you REALLY need to register now. We’ll have up to 21 CEs available, 20 speakers, an exclusive social event, and lots of great offers to save on upcoming events, products, and services. We’ll also have an array of special gift baskets provided by the WSCA Board of Directors to bid on in a silent auction, with all proceeds benefitting the Washington State Chiropractic Trust. These baskets include everything from books to wine to sporting goods and even exclusive trips and vacations! These packages vary in value from several hundred dollars up to several thousand, so don’t forget to place your bid so you can get some great merchandise at a low cost while supporting the legislative efforts of your profession.
This year’s event marks a return to the regular format, single location event we’ve done in years past, and the first one we’ve done since 2019 that didn’t include any public health restrictions. I’m really excited to back on this format and from the registration numbers at this point, it looks like you are too! I can’t wait to see you all at the Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center.
