CORPORATE PARTNER SPECIAL RECOGNITION

LEADERSHIP LEVEL The Highest Level of Partnership

Name: Stephen C. Chan

Clinic name and location: Strategic Health Chiropractic, Bellevue, WA

What chiropractic school did you attend and what year did you graduate? University of Western States, formerly named Western States Chiropractic College, 2001

What made you want to be a chiropractor? An interest in holistic healthcare focusing on treating patients through non-invasive and drug-free methods, emphasizing the body’s natural ability to heal itself; and having patients be active participants in their own health.

How has being a member of the WSCA helped you? WSCA membership has been invaluable in keeping me abreast of the latest developments and changes within our profession. This is the ONLY association in Washington that actively monitors and advocates for the chiropractic profession, ensuring patient access to care and fair reimbursement.

Learning to communicate compassionately and empathetically leads to better patient compliance and satisfaction.

What one piece of advice would you give to new DCs? It is up to you to continue learning and growing. You have a responsibility to be a better provider to your patients tomorrow than you were today.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself. I’ve never won the lottery - lol!
