Again on the fourth Tursday night in July, CAI Orange County members gath- ered at Danny K’s in Orange for the An- nual Billiards Tournament. Te unusual 9-ball format predates most of the attend- ees’ tenure with the Chapter. However, that did not deter the thirty-two teams from competing fiercely for the coveted trophies.

Te evening began with dinner, drinks, practice shots and some trash talk. How- ever, that was quickly replaced by the sound of the breaking balls through-out the hall. Four teams advanced to the fi- nal rounds by winning the individual pool brackets.

Congratulations to the team sponsored by Painting Unlimited for its first place finish. Team members included Sajaroh Sari, Scott Sears, Scot Cool and Eddie Tovar. Te team from KC Landscape took second place. Team members were Ray Santos, Fred DeMaria, Pedro Goite and Karim Vargas. Te third place trophy went to the team sponsored by G4S Se- cure Solutions. Team members included Brandon Joffe, George Villaverde, Chris Na and Jonny Boots.

Tank you to all the sponsors for their support in making this year’s tournament a successful event for the Chapter.

Also,

special thanks to the evening’s scorekeep- ers: Gina Roldan of Pro-Tek Building Ser- vices, Ryan Strzalka of Rose Paving, Laura Todd of Southern Cross Property Consul- tants and Mike Fitzgerald of Flood Pro.
