Q7

 my vendor has become non-compliant, must I stop using them?

If your hired company has a vehicle out of compliance with the Truck and Bus Regulation, you should stop hir-

ing that fleet or you can be subject to enforcement action. You can report a non-compliant vehicle or company to the General Air Pollution Complaint Hotline: 1-800-952-5588 and you can remain anonymous.

Q8 I

If my vendor chooses to provide a written state- ment in lieu of registering I require them to indem- nify the management com- pany and community for  not be in compliance?

You can require that in the written statement but it is not required in the Regulation. As long as you verify annu- ally that the hired company/vehicle is compliant with the Truck and Bus regu- lation with a TRUCRS Certificate or written statement of compliance signed and dated with a list of vehicle identifi-

cation numbers in their fleet, you have met the requirements for the Truck and Bus Regulation.
