The PCAM designation, created by CAI in 1982, is the highest profession- al recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in commu- nity association management. PCAM designees are the elite in community management. The designation must be renewed every three years through work experience, service activities and continuing education. Through ex- tensive education requirements, desig- nees have gained an understanding of all aspects of community association management.
To obtain the PCAM, community managers must first earn the CMCA
T
certification and AMS designation, have five years of community associa- tion work experience, successful com- plete the full series of 200-level courses and complete a challenging case study of a community association. Desig- nees must also comply with the CAI
Professional Code of Ethics.
There are more than 1,800 PCAM nationwide. The Orange County Re- gional Chapter salutes the follow- ing members who have achieved the PCAM designation.
