President’s Message
Angie Adams, CMCA, AMS, PCAM Pacifi c Coast Management, Inc. Chapter President
Hello everyone,
I can’t believe how fast time is fl ying by. What a whirlwind of experiences we have had these past 6 months. I truly appreciate everyone indulging me in the new ideas we have proposed to the Chapter.
In June we switched up the traditional luncheon format to a “Happy Hour” game show centered around educational topics homeowners associations face, and it was so much fun. Thank you, Programs committee for your commitment and dedication to pulling this off!
The Outreach Committee did an amazing job with their participation in the HomeAid Orange County Diaper Drive. Our new members came in and helped support this wonderful event. A big thank you to our volunteers for their time. On Saturday, September 19th
, we
are partnering with the Surfrider Foundation for a beach cleanup in Huntington Beach located at the Brookhurst and PCH entrance. Time and details will follow.
For those of you who joined our annual Scavenger Hunt, what a creative and amazing event. All of the participants were so competitive navigating the clues through the Irvine Spectrum. I think the Social Committee is on to something. I suspect this will be an annual event for years to come.
Last but not least for Chapter news, the Cooks Corner CLAC fundraiser featuring The Refl exx was quite a night. Over 400 people were in attendance, and we raised over $19,000. The proceeds from this event will go towards helping to educate our legislators about common interest developments.
As Chapter President, I attended the CAI National Conference last May in Dallas, TX. It was fabulous with endless education and networking. I highly suggest if you have an opportunity to attend a national conference in the future, please do. It is a time for camaraderie and idea sharing with like-minded individuals concerned with the betterment of our industry.
To fi nish my story this month, we have our fi rst Renaissance Faire coming up September 28th. Mark your calendars. It’s going to be something else!
Congratulations to our Newest Designees! CMCA
