Building a Better OC: CAI-OC Partners with HomeAid’s Diaper Drive | 06.07.24 The CAI-OC Community Outreach Committee is partnering with HomeAid Orange County’s Diaper Drive Friday, June 7th. This marks the second consecutive year in a row that the Chapter is participating with other industry leaders and businesses across Orange County to provide essential diapers and diaper wipes to support families experiencing homelessness. Last year, CAI members donated over 33,000 diapers and 16,000 diaper wipes to help HomeAid reach its goal of collecting 1 million essential items for babies and toddlers.

How can you help? CAI-OC is collecting diapers and baby wipes during the entire month of May. The chapter has created a unique QR code that will provide a link to the Diaper Drive Wish List on Amazon. Each item ordered through the Wish List will be delivered directly to the CAI-OC Chapter Office. The Outreach Committee will be dropping off all the items on June 7th at the HomeAid Drive Thru Drop-Off Day which will be held at The District in Tustin. You are also welcome to help on the day of the event from 11:00am - 1:00pm by contacting caioc.org.

Since 1989, HomeAid Orange County has approached the crisis of homelessness with a unique and collaborative mindset. Their mission is to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. The Diaper Drive is just one of many events sponsored by HomeAid to help our community. We hope you will embrace this collaboration with HomeAid and donate diapers and diaper wipes this May to build a better and stronger OC community.
