The Community Manager Support Committee successfully held a CMCA Study Group on May 3, 2024, aimed at preparing community association managers for the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) examination. This event was part of the Committee’s ongoing efforts to foster career development within the Chapter.
Leadership and Objectives Leading the class were three distinguished experts in the field: Michael Berg of Berg Insurance Agency; Dana Harle of Keystone Pacific Property Management, and Sabrina Davoodian of Powerstone Property Management. Their collective expertise and dedication were instrumental in guiding participants through the preparation process. The primary objective of the Community Manager Support Committee is to encourage career growth in community association management, assist managers in attaining their educational goals, and generate enthusiasm about achieving the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation.
Purpose of the CMCA Study Group The CMCA Study Group on May 3 was meticulously planned to equip managers with the necessary tools and knowledge to pass the CMCA examination. This credential is a critical step for community association managers aiming to elevate their professional standing. The study group sessions included comprehensive reviews of key concepts, practical tips for the exam, and interactive discussions to clarify doubts and reinforce learning.
Key Activities of the Community Manager Support Committee The Community Manager Support Committee undertakes several initiatives to support community association managers:

2. Annual PCAM Reception: An annual reception is organized to honor those who have attained the highest designation in the field, celebrating their dedication and achievements.

4. CMCA Test Study Group: The Committee organizes study groups specifically designed to prepare managers for the CMCA exam, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
