Funding Opportunity Teledentistry Demonstration Sites
T
he MO Department of Health and
Senior Services is issuing an RFA Teledentistry Demonstration Sites to develop a Teledentistry Services Program to provide Teledentistry dental services utilizing a dental hygienist and dentist to both a school based setting and a nursing home setting in order to give students and nursing home residents health care access for diagnostic and preventive care. This funding cycle will be Date of Award through March 31, 2020. If you are interested in submitting a competitive proposal to provide the needed services for the Department, you may obtain a copy of the RFA document from the Department’s website at

D elta Dental of Missouri, announced
on June 19 the election of two new members to its Board of Directors. Oladipupo (Ladi) Adefala, a cyber security expert, and William A. Gray, DMD, MD, were elected to serve three-year terms. Adefala, who resides in St. Charles, is a cyber security expert with Fortinet, who advises clients from a variety of industry sectors on cyber security strategies and risk management. Dr. Gray, who resides in Clay- ton, is a licensed oral surgeon, dentist and physician, practicing oral surgery at St. Louis South Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and serv- ing as chief of oral surgery at Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Cen- ter).
