She continues to work with them on their overall Capital Plan seeing that they are looking ahead to maintain the building properly and making sure they are properly funded to handle both the capital projects and any unforeseen emergencies. Judy continuously makes herself available for meetings over and above monthly Board meetings. Her ability to draw on her past experiences brings her associations a wealth of knowledge which she readily shares..... another example of leadership.
Judy is more than a Senior Property Supervisor with Community Specialists. She is a trusted professional to her colleagues who go to her for technical advice in operational areas and a mentor to numerous professionals within the Community Specialists organization. Judy helps colleagues set the bar high. Her forty-plus years of knowledge has made her a great mentor, assisting her teammates beyond day to day operations. She has shown how to manage a large staff of just over thirty employees, pushed them to take educational classes to better their knowledge and careers. Judy is the gold standard when it comes to community association managers.

Pat has been involved in CAI for many years. He has volunteered countless hours of his time through sponsoring and speaking at events, providing legal expertise, and lobbying in Springfield for legislation that will positively influence the Community Association Industry.
Pat regularly hosts and speaks at client events, and helps to educate Board members and property managers in laws and regulations that influence our industry.As a partner in the law firm of Keay & Costello, Pat has shown leadership within his own company as well, and works with his staff to produce regular industry relevant newsletters and online blogs and publications.
Pat is often asked for his expertise in legislative issues, has been directly involved in getting legislation drafted and passed, and works with CAI’s lobbyist to get the attention of our legislators. As Co-Chair of the Illinois Legislative Action

Cindy has served on the Program Committee and now is the Co-Chair of the Conference & Legal Forum Education Committee. Prior to becoming the Co-Chair, Cindy was very instrumental in the planning of the Legal Forum. During the budget season for 2014 Cindy suggested
adding sponsors to help with the cost and generate income. She also suggested, giving the opportunity for people to choose to get the materials on a zip drive instead of in a binder in an effort to go green and to save work on the office and the law firms. In 2015, handouts were emailed and participants appreciated the committee efforts to go green.
Cindy is very active as Co-chair of the Conference & Legal Forum Education Committee. She is a true leader of the committee and is passionate about having top-notch educational events. She helps develop the committee budget and handles most of the communication to the committee. Cindy also helps keep the committee organized, runs productive and efficient committee meetings and makes sure everyone on the committee has a voice and a role.
