is required for working in a homeowners’ association. For many smaller projects that all associations face, there is no “sports agent” to assist in finding the right contractor who can complete the goal of a successful project. This requires managers to perform the research and talent search. This requires creating project guidelines, creating a list of possible vendors/professionals, requesting proposals from this list, and evaluating the proposals for qualification and seeing the project through scoring the goal of successful project completion.
To ensure that the proposals and potential contractors meet the project’s needs, a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is in order. This helps ensure that the responding contractors present a proposal that fits the project technically and works
