I can’t believe I’m writing my second end-of-year Communications and Content Committee update! 2023 just flew by and it was a true honor and privilege to serve as the committee’s chair again. Our committee is responsible for the creation of content for the chapter magazine, Community Assets, as well as the chapter’s blog and podcasts. I may be biased, but I believe our committee is made up of the best Keystone Chapter members. They continually surprise me with their creativity and great ideas for content that are educational and helpful to our readers and listeners.
We have put out a lot of great content this year. We could not do it without the help and contributions of so many chapter members. Our committee is constantly on the hunt for board members, managers, and business partners who have something educational, informative, entertaining, and valuable to share. We also love collaborating with other committees to help support their efforts. Whether you are a board member who has helped transform their

association’s finances, a manager who has dealt with a challenging situation, or business partner who has helpful solutions to common problems, we want to hear from you!
Many of our contributors are seasoned writers who have submitted articles on various topics over the years. But many are writing their first articles ever for Community Assets! We want to hear from you regardless of what you have written in the past and encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zone. We believe all our chapter members have experiences and ideas that others can learn from, so don’t be shy!
If you have an idea for an article, blog, or podcast, but aren’t sure how to proceed, reach out to a committee member, or Communications Manager Michael Shaw at:
mike@caikeystone.org.
Likewise, if you read an article in the magazine or blog, or tune into an episode of the Community Matters podcast and think, “hey, I could’ve written or spoken about that topic, how come no one
asked me?” let us know! We’re always on the search for new authors and podcasts guests but sometimes we don’t know you’re interested in contributing until you tell us. Again, reach out to me, any member of the Communications & Content Committee, or to our Communications Manager Michael Shaw at:
mike@caikeystone.org.
We really did have a fabulous year, and I want to thank all of our 2023 committee members:
