“I owe David so much I don’t know if I could ever pay the debt (2nd in line after my father). I met David in the spring of 2010 at Vista Pro (now TSM) in Dallas. I traveled for the first time by myself since my dad had fallen ill from his gallbladder. I knew virtually no one. I was super nervous and scared that I would not meet anyone and make the trip worthwhile.
After all the presentations were done, I walked around the vendors table tops, and there was a group of radiator looking guys showing people how they build tube bundles. I worked up the courage to strike up a conversation with the older gentleman that I assume was the owner of Radiator Service Company. That man was David Bienvenu. I said, ‘I want to do heavy duty work like this. How do we get started?’ And it all started then. David and I turned into ‘Radiator Father and Radiator Son’ after that EDTech. I traveled to David’s shop for training that following Fall to learn more. And that I did. If it was not for David being who he is today, Affton Radiator would have never taken the leap. He truly is my Radiator Dad.”
