Cost is another area Robot Coupe has kept a close watch on. Te processing discs used in the CL 50 are made from aluminum and use stainless steel in the blades – both metals that are near historic highs in pricing. Despite this, Mouck says that Robot Coupe has not had a price increase yet this year and the company’s goal is to maintain its pricing through the end of 2021. “Restaurants are struggling right now,” he says. “It’s not a good time to hit them with a price increase.”
