Beier’s career took him all over the world. He previously worked for Congress’ Government Accountability Offi ce, where he oversaw national security and defense issues. The role took him to Afghanistan in 2014, where he lived in a storage container while reviewing contracts for construction and life support services in confl ict zones. In 2016, he joined IBM and spent time leading compliance initiatives for clients in the United States and Dubai. Beier returned to Capitol Hill in 2021 to work as a professional staffer with the House Modernization Committee, where he was responsible for building codes of conduct for how members of Congress should run their offi ces. “At this point in my career, I want to be a visible and vocal leader,” Beier said of joining TriMark. “In my early discussions with TriMark, there was a need/commitment to a new and modern compliance program, plus the freedom to learn about the business and tailor what compliance looks like at TriMark. So, I am empowered to move forward and implement that vision.”
Elsewhere, TriMark made several additions to its South region team. Vincent Moralle joined the company as senior vice president of sales for the South and Craig Foy joined as vice president of sales for the South.
Moralle has more than 22 years of foodservice sales experience, including as regional vice president of sales in the South for Sysco and territory manager at US Foods. His focus at TriMark will be on building, strengthening and maintaining customer relationships, meeting profi tability goals and identifying customer prospects.
Foy has been in the
foodservice industry for nearly 25 years, most recently serving as vice president of sales at Specifi for North America. With his background in sales and management, Foy will be tasked with enhancing TriMark’s presence in the southern region by creating continuity and emphasizing the company’s customer- centric and family-based business.
T e Vollrath Company Kevin McCray joined The
Vollrath Company as vice president of information
technology. He is responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the information systems (IS) strategy, roadmap and initiatives that drive digital transformation and support the objectives of the business. “With an extensive
portfolio of experiences, Kevin is a demonstrated leader with a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting critical business systems,” President and CEO Paul Bartelt said. “We’re proud to welcome him to the company’s leadership team.” Before joining Vollrath, McCray served as the chief information security offi cer for both Church Mutual Insurance Company in Merrill, Wisconsin., and Plexus Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin. He has broad experience in establishing and maintaining the IS strategy and architecture in manufacturing and service industries.
The Wisconsin-based manufacturer also promoted Brian Hedlund to senior vice president of foodservice – U.S. and Canada. The role encompasses the business divisions of smallwares and
countertop equipment, serving systems and components and Stoelting Foodservice. Hedlund will focus on capturing the synergies that exist across all Vollrath foodservice product lines and executing growth and strategic initiatives within the business.
“This strategic organizational change in our foodservice division is an important step in positioning Vollrath for continued growth in the future to make sure we serve our markets to meet their specifi c needs,” CEO Paul Bartelt said. “This structural alignment will allow us to better serve our customers.” Finally, Walter Bates joined
Vollrath as east regional sales manager. In this role, he is responsible for managing and developing the fi eld sales managers and rep groups from Maine to Florida to drive Vollrath’s business and competitive position.
