Commandments Commandments The T The Ten

Using your hands, you can remember the Ten Commandments.

The Second Commandment is, “You shall not make for yourself a carved image – any like- ness of anything is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the wa- ter under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve

the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thou- sands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”

Dips Dips and more dips

I love a good dip. One reason is because you eat them with veg- gies and we all need our veggies. There are the common dips like ranch dressing and sour cream with onion soup mix. Well, I found some great dips over the holidays that I wanted to share. One is savory and one is sweet both very easy with easy ingredients. And there are ways to keep them healthy.

The Savory one…

This recipe came from my friend, Suzanne Lever. She got it out of a good old church cook book. She served it with lots of different    and broccoli.

The Sweet one…

This dip is so easy and my kid’s classes love it but, so do adults! This is served with fruit and has way less calories and is a health- ier option. This one is a winner and can be thrown together fast.

• 2 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt • 1

/3 cup Honey

• 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice (Or you may use 1

/2 cup of pum-

kin puree and add other spice like cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.

Enjoy serving dips to family and friends for a nice appetizer or on game night!!!!
