Rev. Jon Oliphant
Reverend Jon Oliphant was in- stalled as the Pastor of First ARP Church in Rock Hill, SC on Sunday, November 12. Those participating in the service are (front row) Rev. Matt Allison, Rev. Hopewell ARP Installs Elders
Hopewell ARP in Georgia offers praise to God for the installation of James Harvey and John Balfour and for the ordination of Joe Blount as Elders. Mr. Harvey and Mr. Balfour were installed October 8 and Mr. Blount was ordained October 22.
Women’s Ministries
Catawba Women’s Ministries had their annual meeting in the Fall. Emily Wood- ard taught foundations on Biblical literacy. There were panelists who spoke on bridg- ing youth into the life of the church, and on women teaching women and bridging the generation gap in churches. Funds were collected for the John and Sarah El- len Carson Scholarship for pastors and church leaders in the Global Diploma ini- tiative partnership between Erskine and World Witness. It was a great day!
