Alphabetical Guide For Christians From A-Z
J – Join hands with the righteous. I was glad when they said until me, let us go into the house of the Lord. It is our accustomed place. Let’s join the crowd.
K – Keep your mind pure. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. We need to always think on the good things of life and give thanks.
L – Lie not for any consideration. To thyself be true. Never forsake the ways of the law. One lie leads to another and then we have the big cover up to perform.
Here is a Bible verse designed to your New Year’s resolutions. The purpose of providing a Bible verse is to establish a biblical grounding for the goals you set out. Moreover, rather than merely compiling a Bi- ble verse for new Year’s resolutions, I have included practical ways that you can use this verse to achieve your new Year’s Resolutions.
Matthew 25:34-40 - “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the
creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
The Bible continually reminds us to take care of the poor, the widowed, and the less fortunate. Make it a New Year’s resolution to consciously go out and help those in need. Whether you decide to serve at a soup kitchen or visit the el- derly, this New Year’s resolution is all about serving.

COLLARDS ARE SUPER GREENS! helping maintain your digestive health. The cholesterol before it makes its way into your bloodstream, lowering your cholesterol lev- the good bacteria in your gut, which can help greens are a good source of vitamin K, which is vital for healthy bones.
Consuming enough vitamin K daily helps your body absorb calcium and strengthens the fundamental structure of your bones. As a result, collard greens can help reduce your risk of osteoporosis.
QUICK COLLARD GREENS 1 large bunch (about 10 ounces) collard greens 1 1 1/4
/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 medium cloves garlic, pressed or minced back or omit if sensitive to spice) A couple lemon wedges, for serving
• Cut the thick central ribs out of the collard greens, and stack the leaves on top of one an- other. Starting at one end, roll them up into a cigar-liked shape, then slice across the roll to make skinny rolls of collard strips. Use a sharp chef’s knife for this, and make your slices as thin as possible—ideally about 1/8- inch wide. Give the collards a few extra chops to break them apart.
• Warm a large, heavy-bottom skillet (cast iron is great) over medium-high heat. Add a generous drizzle of olive oil (the oil will later help your body absorb the nutrients in the greens). Then add the greens and some salt. Give the greens a good stir so they’re all lightly shimmering from the oil and turning darker green.
• Let the greens cook against the pan in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Thanks to the hot oil in the hot pan, some of the collards will eventually develop crisp, browned edges—these taste so good!
• Once you see a little browning action, add adding the garlic at this point, rather than be- fore, because otherwise it’ll burn by the time your collards are done.
• Transfer the collards to plates so they stop cooking. Serve with a wedge of lemon and your done.
