A short time later, the door for ministry in Tampico closed, and our missionaries returned to the States. Mark and Nathalie now felt God’s call to plant a church in Toledo, Spain. Over the next seven years, the church grew and became a vibrant fellowship. Neither Nathalie or I could ever have imagined we would meet again in Poland.

In the weeks following the invasion, I watched the news, I cried, I prayed. I had history with this country, these people, with Nathalie, Mark and their children. Seeing photos of Nathalie’s family and other Ukrainian refugees in their home and other homes in Toledo, I marvel at how strategically they have been placed there for such a time as this.
