Following the World Witness dinner in Florida, a group ran the Lake Wales Care Center 10k & 5k.


10k - Garrison Taylor placed 3rd in age group for the 10k. Alex Pettett placed 2nd in the age group for the 5k. Tessa Taylor placed 2nd overall and 1st in her age group. Abigail Pettett placed 2nd overall in women and 1st in the age group. Louise Taylor placed 3rd overall in women and 1st in the age group. Ivey Taylor placed 1st in the age group

She was willing to go there but struggling with her fears. And she dreaded being so far from her family in the Ukraine. A short time later, the door for ministry in Tampico closed, and our missionaries returned to the States. Mark and Nathalie now felt God’s call to plant a church in Toledo, Spain. Over the next seven years, the church grew and became a vibrant fellowship. Neither Nathalie or I could ever have imagined we would meet again in Poland.   

We hugged, we cried. We prayed. God had mercifully brought us together again. The week ended too soon. I returned to South Carolina and Nathalie to her family and ministry in Toledo. Four years later the unthinkable 


In the weeks following the invasion, I watched the news, I cried, I prayed. I had history with this country, these people, with Nathalie, Mark and their children. Seeing photos of Nathalie’s family and other Ukrainian refugees in their home and other homes in Toledo, I marvel at how strategically they have been placed there for such a time as this. 


 


 
