s we celebrate Bonclarken’s 100th birthday during 2022, I am writing a series of articles on the beginning, development, and future plans for our conference center. My last article on the early years of Bonclarken ended


as a cliff-hanger. On January 16, 1930, the Bonclarken Board of Directors had received a communication from their bank alerting them that a suit would be  made. The Great Depression was in full force, and they did not have the funds. Would Bonclarken be lost?
