Reverend Howard Wheeler, pastor and church planter, led the evening worship time from Luke 21:5-19, “Advancing the Gospel through Assurance. What paralyzes you? Tribulations are unavoidable. How can the gospel advance? Verse 8 tells us that the call is to be diligent and attentive. Verse 9 tells us to go forth and not sit back. Rev. Wheeler encourages the delegates saying, “Don’t give up. Church work is hard but remain steadfast. The Word of God has power.”
Board Chairman, gave a report, followed by URC fraternal delegate. Reverend Kuiken closed the meeting with a prayer for unity.
