all the history of this amazing Church. The Restaurant Manager Sam Cavallaro is quick to give you a tour of the place and explain the history behind it. At the bar, is the Agave Bible which explains Agave tequila a brief history of how blue agave was used and in what areas it was grown and the production of the tequila.
The menu is New Style Mexican cuisine, you will find tacos along with sides of rice and beans, but they have a new style approach to them. A Chicken Tinga Taco has Achiote Chicken, Cotija, Red onions, and Cilantro, Pepitas. (which is Pumpkin seeds.) The combination of spices makes the tacos juicy and spiced to perfection. In the Entrees, they have Romaine Lettuce that is grilled, which is not something you see in many places. The Chips and salsa and brought to the table with freshly made chips. The salsas are Mild salsa, Jalapeno, Habanero, and a Pequin salsa, which was my favorite of all. They even have Mexican Cola for your delight.
If you are looking for a historic feel church restaurant with Tacos and Tequila this is the place to go. Check out the special that are carefully crafted to make your next meal at Taco guild extra ordinary. The staff is friendly and hospitable and makes you feel welcome which makes the experience very pleasurable. They also offer Plant based options and gluten free.
