“No matter what kind of facility you have, or how big it is, there are certain principles that apply universally,” Osterhout said. “First, you must practice preventative maintenance.


“Second, know the life cycles of your equipment,” he continued.


“Third, test your equipment frequently.   -    and a symphony hall. “We operate under the philosophy of ‘clean as you go, repair as you go’,” Osterhout said. “When people come here in 2016 on a site visit for an event taking place in 2019, they want the facility to look the same way in three years. “Maintaining your building is part of your customer’s experience,”
