2016 call for proposals The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Research Committee supports innovative and meritorious research relevant to accreditation and quality improvement through its annual IAC Research Award Program. The application process initially involves a letter of intent and, if accepted, a subsequent full proposal. Dr. Rösch receives CIRSE Gold Medal
SIR member and IR pioneer Josef Rösch, MD, FSIR, was honored with the Gold Medal of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) during the CIRSE annual meeting. He accepted via video as he could not travel. At the time of this issue’s printing, SIR was saddened to learn that Dr. Rösch passed away in mid January. SIR will communicate more details in Guidewire, the SIR website and in the next issue of IRQ.
SIR launches quality toolkit
SIR’s new IR Quality Toolkit, designed to assist IRs with the development of overall quality and patient safety programs, contains resources that may be used to guide daily efforts in implementing quality improvement systems. This collection includes:
