sirweb.org/irq | 9 Nominate your IR hero for an SIR Gold Medal
The SIR Gold Medal is interventional radiology’s highest honor. Bestowed annually at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting, this award honors the excellence and lifetime achievements of interventional radiologists who have rendered exceptional service to the field. This service may include teaching, mentoring, or conducting scientific research and clinical investigations, among other activities that advance the quality of patient care and ensure the future of the field.
Nomination submissions should describe the nominee’s qualifications for the award and should include a detailed curriculum vitae. The primary nominator is responsible for initiating the submission of at least two letters of support from other SIR members.
