SIDEKICK USA, LLC
Turf Compression and Positioning Machine SIDEKICK is a U.S. Patented Turf Compression and Positioning Machine to aid in the Installation of sod. SIDEKICK has the ability to: •
•
Compress sod uniformly across the entire width resulting in a cleaner install with virtually no seams.
Improve turf density, making results safer and stronger. STMA innovative award winner 2013 for safety.
• Performs flawlessly every time; doesn’t get tired or careless. • Doesn’t rip or tear as rakes and spiked plates often will. • Nimble, efficient, and easy to operate. As simple as Drop, Extend, Retract, Slide Forward, Repeat. •
Doesn’t disturb the grade. SIDEKICK actually smooths the grade visibly as it retracts resulting in 100% operator uniformity. NO skipped areas.
• Reduces both manpower and time needed. • Returns the edge contacted to a precise 90 degree angle to match the seam with the next roll—resulting in no gaps. • Allows “thick cut sod” to become a marketable option.
TRILO/Vanmac
TRILO BRL 120 Big Roll Installer Turfgrass producers can lay sod in front of them and roll it tight with the BRL 120’s 7 hydraulic driven wheels. With a maximum roll width of 4 ft. (120 cm), a soccer field can be installed within one day. The driving speed is variable up to approximately 11 mph (18 km/h). The operator’s platform has a side shift from 4 ft. (120 cm), providing good visibility. A smart feature guides the laying process, resulting in a field without a trace of seams. The machine is very maneuverable and easy to operate.
