rather not do and maybe even dis- agree with to promote everyone’s health and safety. And I saw them do all these things with love and grace and sacrifice and a desire to put others above themselves.

As I have returned from camp

and jumped back into the activities of life and ministry I am still think- ing about and being encouraged by some of the things the speaker talked about and some of the conversations I had with our students and the staff at camp. But more than that I feel encouraged and inspired to continue the hard work of ministry and serving others. Under normal circumstances loving and serving others takes sac- rifice and putting the needs of others above your own. As we continue to live through this pandemic this is even more true.

I hope and pray that we can all continue to grow in our

love and service to others in 2021. Jesus gave us the ultimate example of the sacrifice needed to love others well. May his example and the example of others in ministry inspire us in our roles this year at work, at home with family, in minis- try, and in our communities.

And then I guess we better add one more thing to our list of famous pairs — love and sacrifice.
