PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

We find ourselves smack in the middle of a time of political, economic, and social uncertainty. This comes on the heels of a recent worldwide pandemic
that has many of us wondering, “when are we going to find stability?”
When this happens it’s often easy to shut ourselves in from the chaos. We may feel like it’s just all too much to handle and we can feel overwhelmed by fear of the unknown. It can be so easy to assume we are alone in our struggles to navigate the big bad world out there.
I can tell you from experience, that is exactly the opposite reaction we should have. In times of confusion and uncertainty the most important way forward is relying on the collective support of our fellow chiropractors. We all find ourselves facing the same questions. How do we approach the volatility of the economy and how does that directly impact the bottom line in our practices? How do we prepare for possible changes in insurance coverage for our patients? Should we even stick with insurance, or would it be best to convert to a cash practice? How do we even consider starting a practice as a new doc when it’s so difficult to predict the health of the economy?
These are all questions we as the WSCA board are constantly trying to find answers to. Our goal is to provide the most up to date seminars that get to the heart of the matter. We are constantly looking for partnership with forward thinking corporate members who can help our doctors of chiropractic navigate their way through any tough times.
Our board is currently working hard to put together an amazing line up of speakers for WSCA Connect ’25, October 3-5, that weekend that is sure to offer something for everyone.
I absolutely believe that the future of chiropractic in Washington state couldn’t be brighter. We are the undisputed leaders in a natural health and wellness revolution that is poised to explode over the next decades. And our message of human potential for better health through the chiropractic/wellness lifestyle is what our communities are desperately looking for.
If you are not a member of the WSCA the time is now to join. If you have partners or colleagues that aren’t members, call them up and tell them to join. We are stronger together and together we can change the world.
