Wow, time has flown by. As we transition into the cooler months of September and October, it’s a great time to reflect. The challenges and transformations we’ve faced have profoundly reshaped our world. From navigating evolving global conversations to embracing rapid technological advancements, our adaptability and innovation have been truly remarkable.


This year, athletes from around the world gathered in Paris for the Summer Olympics, showcasing incredible feats of strength and determination. From awe-inspiring performances to unexpected triumphs, the games celebrated the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Simone Biles returned to the spotlight, overcoming past challenges and winning new accolades, while emerging stars captivated our attention with their extraordinary talents. And let’s not forget the unsung heroes behind the scenes who made it all possible.


Similarly, our Orange County Regional Chapter has risen to the occasion time and again. We’ve consistently demonstrated our unity and ongoing support for each other. We’ve held amazing luncheons, including the Game Show luncheon, where everyone had a great time participating, learning about pressing legal and legislative topics, and enjoying a chance to win as a TEAM. These achievements exemplify our motto this year: Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM). Our TEAM has been very busy.


The Emerging Leaders & Mentorship Committee continues to do an outstanding job supporting our next generation of leaders.

With their in-person workshop, “Setting and Achieving Your Goals: A Roadmap to Success,” they helped individuals prepare for future leadership roles not only in CAI but within their own organizations.


The Cook’s Corner concert featuring the 80’s cover band, The Reflexx, was quite a night. With 450 attendees present and the help of contributing sponsors, the Chapter raised $16,000 for the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC). The proceeds from this event will be spent helping to educate our legislators about common interest developments and supporting legislation in the best interests of all homeowners.


As one athlete from the United States said about competing in Paris, “It’s not always about winning; it’s about loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, integrity, and personal courage.” These words resonate deeply with our CAI family. The TEAM has forged a new unity within our Chapter, and it has been a joy to witness the collective spirit of togetherness.


I look forward to seeing you at the Golf Tournament on October 21st and other CAI events in the near future.
