overlooked need, and this initiative provided tangible relief for parents andcaregivers striving to create stability and security for their households.
At The Giving Farm, the Outreach Committee harvested fresh strawberries that were donated directly to the OC Food Bank. This hands on experience highlighted the importance of access to fresh, healthy food and demonstrated how local partnerships can connect volunteer efforts to immediate community benefit.
A strong, ongoing partnership was built with Families Forward, where the Outreach Committee returned multiple times throughout the year. They sorted, dated, and stocked donated food and assisted at the organization’s client-choice market, a dignified setting where families are empowered to select the items that best meet their needs. By returning again later in the year, the Committee underscored its commitment to consistency, respect, and long-term impact.
Environmental stewardship also played an important role in the Committee’s outreach efforts. At Bolsa Chica State Beach, the Committee collected 433 pounds of trash, helping protect a shared coastal resource.
The year concluded with a deeply meaningful holiday outreach in partnership with Olive Crest, supporting teens in the Olive Crest Residential Program. Through the generosity of
HOA professionals and vendor partners, all 150 individual wish-list requests were fulfilled, and $1,850 in gift cards were collected. These contributions provided more than gifts; they delivered dignity, choice, and a powerful message to teens that they are seen, valued, and supported during the holiday season.
Holiday outreach efforts extended to Ronald McDonald House of Orange County through the delivery of toys donated by Committee members and partners at the Holiday Social. In addition, Committee volunteers prepared and served a holiday breakfast on the day of delivery, providing families with warmth, care, and meaningful connection while spending the holidays in the hospital.
None of this work would be possible without the dedication and generosity of homeowner leaders, community managers and business partners who understand that strong communities are built on more than rules, reserves, and maintenance plans. They are built on compassion, service, and a willingness to invest in people.
In 2025, the Outreach Committee exemplified what it means to lead with heart. By stepping beyond their day-to-day roles and giving their time, resources, and care, they showed how HOAs can be a powerful force for good strengthening not only neighborhoods but the wider community we all share.
