The 2024 Circus Historical Society Convention will be at the Marriott Northeast/Emory University Area


hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, from August 4 through August 7. Program After a special meeting with the “First of Mays,” the


convention will begin with a reception at 5pm Sunday, August 4, and end after the auction at 9:30pm Wednesday, August 7. Presentations and panel discussions on a wide range of circus history topics will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This year’s convention will feature Bello Nock! who will discuss circus history and culture in an exclusive interview titled Circus: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow with Legendary Circus Artist Bello Nock! The annual banquet and the awarding of the 2024 Thayer Prize will be at noon Tuesday.


Registration


Circus Historical Society Members and their guests can reg- ister online at the rate of $225 per person until July 15, 2024. The non-member rate of $285 per person includes a one-year membership and subscription to Bandwagon. Additional fees apply after July 15. The full-time Academic rate is $150, and the full-time Student rate is $125. Registration fees include admittance to all presentation sessions and to the reception, banquet, and auction.


Cancellation Refund Policy: 100% before July 1 - 50% from July 1 to July 31 - No refund after July 31. Registration and the updated convention program are available on the CHS website at: https://circushistory.org/next-convention/.
