NIRI Publishes2023 Earnings Process Practices Research Report
NIRI recently published the NIRI 2023 Earnings Process Practices Re- search Report, a periodic study of the practices and trends associated with public company earnings
announcements. “In keeping with our mission of advanc- ing and elevating the professional practice of investor relations, NIRI is pleased to present this report,” says NIRI President and CEO Mat- thew Brusch, CAE. “Earnings announcements are significant cyclical events for many public companies and a key communications vehicle to shareholders and other stakeholders.” NIRI tracks trends in earnings announce-
ment processes and other investor relations practices to help organizations benchmark against their peers. NIRI’s objective is to
articulate trends impacting this important investor relations tool. Tis report presents 2023 survey results
and trends from NIRI corporate investor rela- tions members, detailing earnings process practices including: • Quiet Periods • Earnings Guidance • Earnings Releases • Earnings Calls • Post-Earnings Calls Due to the highly interconnected nature of
pre-earnings quiet periods, earnings guid- ance, the earnings release and earnings call, this survey addressed all these practices where investor relations professionals take the lead. TeNIRI 2023 Earnings Process Practices
