INDUSTRY ISSUES
INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC CRM OPTIONS While there are plenty of general CRMs available, CRM systems designed specifically for the landscape industry feature some of the nuances of this field and are more likely to integrate with the other systems you use, such as landscape estimating software.
This is by no means a comprehensive list, but here are a
few green industry CRM systems on the market. Service Assistant by Real Green Systems allows users to view minute details such as what the weather was at the last time of service. It has a call log feature that has reference notes from previous calls and can set follow-up reminders. Arborgold’s CRM has over 35 different contact fields and users can store unlimited customers and their information. Users can also create an unlimited number of job sites per customer, unlike some other CRM systems. Asset by Include Software is built to be all-in-one and not only includes a CRM but has scheduling, accounting, purchasing, estimating, inventory capabilities and more. Whichever CRM system you narrow it down to, it is always best to access a product demonstration and test the system for its strengths and weaknesses. As you test out the sys- tem, ask if it helps you. At the end of the day, if the CRM is not improving efficiency, productivity and revenue growth, it’s not serving its purpose. TLP
