Leadership Academy Expand your leadership knowledge to effectively


lead within and outside of APT. L or profession of


eadership development is a critical ongoing priority in every organization committedtothe advancement of thetrade its members. By completing the APT Leadership


Academy program, you will develop and contribute to the elevated leadership perspectives necessary to ensure the long-term growth and advancement of both play therapy and APT.


Additionally, you will learn how APT is structured, operated, and        


                  to better align expertise with assigned duties. This alignment allows the policy board to focus upward and outward, thereby generating more long-term value for members.


Application and enrollment information will be shared via APT’s weekly PlayToday and website, a4pt.org.


The Leadership Academy has provided me with a deeper understanding of the operations of APT. One of my favorite aspects of this journey was the constant opportunity to practice obtaining consensus among fellow participants. The experiences helped me reflect on my leadership qualities and develop my communication skills.
