Randy Turman, CFP®, CPA/PFS Randy Turman, CPA/PFS, CFP®, is the CEO of Retirement Investment Advisors, Inc. A member for nearly 30 years, Turman is a member of the South Oklahoma City Rotary Club and the Greater Oklahoma City YMCA Board of Directors. In 2012, the OSCPA selected him as the Outstanding CPA in Financial Planning. He holds four degrees, including an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He also taught fundamentals of investing at Oklahoma City Community College for 11 years and has conducted numerous money management seminars for adult education at various locations across the Oklahoma City metro. Turman has written three books.

“Te All-Weather Retirement Portfolio: Your Post-Retirement Investment Guide to a Worry-Free Income for Life” (2015)

In Turman’s first book, he offers solutions for making sure your finances can cover your retirement years. He offers steps for building a strong portfolio, life expectancy for six different types of investments, 10 questions to ask a financial advisor and more. Out of 115 ratings, 91% gave this book four or five stars—but mostly five. One reader wrote, “Randy shares his personal history and divides his book of advice into four parts - preparing to set sail into all kinds of weather, the longitude and latitude of investing after you retire, designing your all-weather retirement portfolio and ready to set sail…[Tis is a] solid, well-written, very accessible book…”

“More Tan a Millionaire: Your Path to Wealth, Happiness, and a Purposeful Life Starting Now” (2018) Turman’s second book also delivers sound financial advice, but more with the

goal of helping readers master their money rather than their money mastering them so they can find a true path to happiness. Turman offers tips on identifying personal goals, self-actualization and protecting assets so the reader can enjoy money earned, but also protect the financial future. One reader wrote, “I love, love, love that he doesn't focus on the money. In fact, if you are only out for money, this book is not the book for you. If you want to live a well-rounded life surrounded by things and people who help to complete you, this is the book to guide you in that direction.” More than 91% of readers gave this book four or five starts, but again, mostly five.

“Te Worry-Free Retirement Guide to Finding a Trustworthy Financial Advisor” (2019) His third book was

prompted after a journalist asked him what percentage

of financial advisors he would recommend for his mom. When he felt his best response was just 2%, Turman decided to put his years of experience and professional advice in a book to help readers select qualified, honest financial advisors. One reviewer wrote: What's unique about this book is its jargon-free style and direct, understandable, actionable advice that virtually anyone can put into practice. He gives you the tools to find the advisor best suited to your particular situation. Turman has a talent for explaining very complex topics in a natural, simple way.”

Each of the books can be found at Amazon.com. Happy reading!
