The décor and theme of the awards banquet highlighted the 25th anniversary of MDIS. Dr. Steven Hribernik, an oral surgeon from Festus, along with Dr. Robert Butler, received awards for their work with Donated Dental Services.

MDIS Executive Vice President Greg Russell speaks after the MDA honored the agency for its many contributions to the Association and its members. Dr. Prabu Raman enjoyed the evening before he would be installed as president with his wife, Woon Mi, and two of his three daughters, Ajanta and Amitha. Dr. Roy Thompson, Sixth District Trustee, installs the MDA officers on Saturday morning.
